Schaumburg, IL – January 22, 2026 – Kitagawa North-Tech, Inc. (KNI), Workholding, Automation and Tooling Systems supplier, has hired Chris Albaugh as a Design Engineer for their Productivity Team (P) group of engineers. Albaugh comes to Kitagawa with 20 years of manufacturing, design, engineering and production experience for Workholding and tooling ranging from Standard Chucks to Wheel Chucks to Custom Fixtures. Most recently he worked for the aerospace parts maker, Regal Rexnord facility in Monticello, Indiana and prior to that position, he was a design engineer for the former LMC Workholding in Logansport, Indiana.
In his role as Designer Engineer for KNI, Chris is responsible for taking customer concepts, ideas, and specifications, and then turning them into designs of high performance, Workholding and Tooling solutions. He will be involved in the turnkey process, from design through manufacturing to testing to delivery to our customers. Chris currently resides in Flora, Indiana and will work in a hybrid-remote capacity – splitting time between his home office and at Kitagawa NorthTech’s North American headquarters, manufacturing, repair and service facility located in Schaumburg, Illinois.
