Illinois State Governor, JB Pritzker issued a “stay at home” order that became effective this past Saturday, March 21, 2020. According to the directive, only essential businesses will remain open. As a manufacturer and tooling supplier to key industries such as Medical, Defense and other commercial markets, KItagawa NorthTech, Inc. (KNI) is designated as an essential manufacturer to industry. As such, we will remain open but we have reduced our in-office staff to only those necessary to process orders, manufacture essential products and ship/receive. Those in the office are being required to practice social distancing and wear PPE as required to do their jobs safely.
