KEITA KAWABATA TO PROVIDE INSIDE SALES AND INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SUPPORT FOR KITAGAWA NC ROTARY TABLES AND TECNARA/MST MILLING PRODUCTS
Schaumburg, IL – June 25, 2020 – Kitagawa North-Tech, Inc. (KNI), the most trusted name in Workholding, has recently assigned Keita Kawabata to a new role for the company. He will now serve as Sales Coordinator & Inventory Management Specialist for the companies Milling products and solutions. The new products added to KNI’s product portfolio include Kitagawa NC Rotary Tables, MST Slimline Shrink-Fit Tool Holders and MST Angle Head Attachments. These new products were part of the recent strategic acquisition of Tecnara Systems made by Kitagawa NorthTech earlier this year.
Mr. Kawabata joined Kitagawa NorthTech in August of 2019 as Sales Coordinator for the Inside Sales Group at KNI. He provided day-to-day sales coordination and quoting of Turning and Milling Workholding products for customers and distributors. Prior to joining Kitagawa USA operations and headquarters for the Americas, Keita Kawabata spent 8 years in the Railway Equipment Department in Osaka, Japan. He was involved in coordinating product development, manufacturing and technical support at Nippon Steel Trading Company (NSTC) for Railway products. Kitagawa NorthTech, Inc.is a member company of NSTC.
Upon graduating from Kansai University with a bachelor’s degree in Law in 2010, Mr. Kawabata joined Nippon Steel Trading Company. From 2014 to 2018, Mr. Kawabata served as a sales representative for the company. He has also since earned certificates in Marketing and Project Management and studied Business at the University of California, Irvine in 2019.
In April of 2020, Kitagawa NorthTech (KNI) announced the acquisition of Tecnara Tooling System’s core product lines, which included Kitagawa Rotary Tables, MST Angle heads & Tooling systems. In an effort to serve customer requirements, Mr. Kawabata has recently been reassigned to fully support these new and fast growing product line segments at KNI.
In addition to sales coordination responsibilities, he will also provide inventory control and management, forecasting and purchasing, as well as act as a liaison with suppliers, customers and internal KNI operations. Keita Kawabata presently resides in Illinois and will report out of Kitagawa NorthTech’s North American headquarters and operations for sales, design, manufacturing, technical support and repair services. USA operations are located in Schaumburg, Illinois.
